About the Business
Balance is a Community Interest Company (CIC); this means that we are a 'not for profit' organisation. Surplus money that we make within the business will be re-invested into our services. Pure are supporting Balance's mission to become a sustainable, deliverer of high quality services to enable people to become less reliant on services and reach their potential. Balance is a certified social enterprise with the Social Enterprise Mark. This means that Balance has proved it is genuine against independently-assessed criteria for social enterprise.
The Mark provides assurance that profits/surpluses are used to deliver high quality services which enable vulnerable people to become more independent and support them to achieve their life goals, acting as a guarantee that Balance's profits are used to help people and planet, rather than pay dividends to shareholders.
