About the Business
The founder of GSL Education, Kamal Ahmed, was brought up in east London and has worked in the education sector throughout his career. Concerned about education opportunities and low aspirations and academic achievement in his local area, he worked with other members of the community to set up the Keen Students School in 1990. KSS remains a registered charity working with hundreds of GCSE and A-Level students and has become a highly accomplished study support centre and provider of post-compulsory education: thanks to KSS, thousands of young people who may otherwise have left school with few qualifications through a lack of motivation, encouragement and attention have gone on to complete university degrees and build successful careers.
