Shaw Trust is the UK's largest third sector provider of employment services for disabled and disadvantaged people. We work in partnership with public sector organisations and provide diverse services for businesses. Shaw Trust is a charity; it exists to provide support to people who need help to be independent, economically active and to contribute to society. We have a proud history of innovation and leadership on which to build.
Shaw Trust's Milton Keynes centre supported Louis Francis to set up his own business, making him the first deaf stone mason in the United Kingdom. Louis says: Without the support of the Work Choice programme, I would not have had the confidence to set up my own business. The scheme equipped me with the skills and know-how to draft a business plan and understand codes of practice, laws and regulations.
